The Mortgage Avenue is a friendly team with offices in Brockholes in Holmfirth, and Shepley in Huddersfield, which offer a professional, impartial and expert mortgage advice service. We offer a completely bespoke service, whether you visit us, or prefer that we visit you.

Anthony Hutt founded The Mortgage Avenue in 2018 after previously working as a Financial Adviser within a large estate agent, covering Cheshire and Staffordshire for a number of years. He then relocated to West Yorkshire and set up The Mortgage Avenue in Holmfirth, West Yorkshire although still continues to give advice across the country.

As well as being a financial adviser, Anthony has a real passion for property. He is a landlord and property developer as well, meaning that he has a real handle on the current market and can offer sound coaching advice when it comes to buying your first or next home, especially if the property is a doer-upper!

Here at The Mortgage Avenue, we understand that buying a house or finding a new mortgage can be stressful, time-consuming and even scary. We offer appointments around the clock, 7 days a week and are happy to talk to you regardless of whether you have owned a house for 30 years, or don’t even know where to begin saving.

Being a self-confessed numbers geek, Anthony gets great satisfaction from saving people money on their mortgage.

Dr Matt joined The Mortgage Avenue in 2020. After many years working as a doctor within the NHS, Matt decided he wanted a change in career so studied to become a Financial Adviser before then joining our team. Matt offers financial advice in all aspects of property purchasing and his medical experience lends him to being particularly knowledgeable within the insurance industry.

Lauren has many years experience working within the commercial and residential property industry and consequentially helped Anthony create The Mortgage Avenue. Lauren is responsible for the day to day running of the business and also helps to push mortgage applications over the line through communicating between solicitors, estate agents, lenders and purchasers. Lauren also offers coaching advice for those who are aiming to become home owners in the future.
